Hey guys, Falkier here. First of all, welcome to my Pony Tattoo contest. Before I get started with the actual contest and rules, here's a bit of my background.
I've been a brony since about mid way through season 1. I was hooked on the show from the start. As with many bronies, I found out about the show from 4chan. I was easily a sceptic thinking "Clearly this is a show for children. There is no way grown men could legitimately enjoy this." But I was wrong, one episode and I was done. Fan-fics, music, PMVs, artwork, everything that came out of this fandom, I ate up. MLP:FiM changed my life for the better. It's shown me there is good out there no matter what, that there are still people in this world that care about each other.
I love this show and this fandom so much, I had a tattoo done in honour of my favourite pony, Nyx from the fan-fic, Past Sins by Pen Stroke. It is her cutie mark with a bit of a change. I realized I was so much like Nyx in many ways, helping others at my own expense. But I found a balance much like I found my love for this show. I freely tell any one who listens about me being a brony. And yet, if you would look at me, you would never guess (think metal-head here).
However, even with the bumper stickers, figurines, cell phone wallpapers, Pinkie Pie'd computer case..... well, I don't really have any of those, except the figurines.... and plushies, I wanted something more, That's why I got my tattoo. Then I realized, That's the only thing I'll truly take with me when I die.
That's where this contest comes into play. I'd like to get another tattoo but I'm not all that creative. Cue you, the artists. I want you guys to come up with some totally awesome designs for tattoos! I have three locations available: back, right arm/shoulder, left arm/shoulder. The latter of which is where my first tattoo is so any thing added there must work around it. This is your chance to really show, not just me, but this whole fandom what you guys have, and what you can do.
When I set up to receive submissions, I'll Post them in a central location for all to vote on. Top ten from each location will go on to a final voting process. I must ask each artist to only submit one single entry. It wouldn't be fair for one person to win all 3 contests.
Dates and additional rules will be posted at a later date. I really look forward to all entries and hope to see some really nice ideas. And, just maybe, there might be a little $omethign extra for the winners.
